Brighten Up Your Ride

Spring is here, and summer’s not far away, so now is the time (hopefully) to pack away your winter riding ensembles and bring out your lighter-weight gear.

However, just because the days are lengthening, and the nights becoming shorter, it is not ideal to discard the high visibility / reflective items altogether.

We are all aware of the practicality of wearing these products during the winter months, but were you aware that drivers may also not be able to see you when the sun is low in the sky during spring and autumn days, or when it’s at its highest in the summer.

The most popular high visibility colour is yellow, which is perfect for dark days, but it can become obscured if you are riding through trees, or tree-lined streets as it blends in with the green. Therefore consider mixing your apparel up with some pink or orange too.

The Equisafety collection ranges from the best-selling Aspey Jacket through to the iconic Polite range and also features high visibility/reflective items for your horse and your dog, enabling you to help keep them visible and safe too.
