Thursday 30th October saw Littleton Manor Equestrian open their gates for the first time for combined training. LMEQ held a combined training competition with 63 horses and riders taking part across three levels – BE80, BE90 and BE100. The show was extremely well supported and everyone had a great time.
Sally Price judged the first two classes, with Candice Payne and Freddie Shoestring claiming the BE80 first place with a great score of 27.5 and Jo Davies riding Queen B claiming first place in the BE90 section 1 with a score of 28.
Sally-Lynne Andrews judged the second two classes, with Kate Tarrant and Heigh Hopes – owned by Lynne Underhill claiming the BE90 section 2 first prize on a fantastic score of 18.5, and Sarah Eastman riding Ben won the BE100 on a score of 22.
The BS course builder and judge John Farrell built a fair but testing course which rewarded all those who completed, although with 21 clear rounds out of 63 starters it certainly was not a dressage competition.
Professional photographer Stephen Bartholomew spent the day photographing all the competitors and got some fantastic shots. Stephen was also using a ‘Go-Pro’ remote camera to get some different and really exciting jumping action shots.
